Yesterday was a great day. It was sunny all day and a cool wind is blowing in off the water. We were at the park for most of the afternoon. Kai played on the slide and we played on the swing together. He was chasing pigeons while we were drinking a couple beers. Then we chased more pigeons all over the park. I showed him how to sneak up on them. Grandpa Bala was there too and he chased pigeons with Kai too.
After we left the park Kai slept for hours. Then we took Grandpa Bala out for dinner for his birthday. Kai was charming the waitress with his smiles, he even got some hugs and kisses. Today, we are heading out somewhere–an impromptu road trip. Not sure where we’ll end up.
